Going to attempt this tonight after work but my question is will it fit straight on?

Amongst my engine removal and rebuild hell when I put the turbo elbow back on I seem to have had 2 bolts shake off completely and 2 come lose nearly coming off and one stud screwed, prob not f tight just tight. Anyways gasket screwed and obviously needing new nuts and bolts too I had a look at parts needed and inc postage for another 13 quid I could have a new elbow too slightly uprated. So it arrived new elbow, gasket and bolts. Will this fit onto my standard drager downpipe? Don't wanna pull everything apart to find it doesnt.

Needs doing as its blowing good and proper and sounds awful above 3.5rpm

Fairly easy to do mate. Mainly from under the front of the car. Although 1 of the bolts is a right bitch to get at. I managed to do it with a 3/8 drive ratchet and long extensions and a wobbly end.

As for you new elbow I take it you mean you bought a 3" one ?

Now unless you have a 3" downpipe or plan on fitting one soon then I wouldn't bother. Most the cheap ones just crack anyway as they are made of tin foil lol

Supprised you managed to knacker the gasket through as they are very heavy duty. I'd just wack the new bolts in :)

I'll be honest I'm not sure about the bolts supplied as I have studs comin from the turbo that locate the elbow and nuts go on the end of em. I'm doing the downpipe in the near future I'm holding.g my breath that richleesons will be avail still when I'm ready. Yh a 3'' one mate. Have just revived confirmation from my local yoda that it should fit if as advertised so ill start burning my hands and ARM on my manifold and elbow when I fi.ish work lol.
