Turbo elbow do I need 1??

Hi guys I'm getting an 80 series turbo for my 8 on Friday and am going to get a 9 manifold to go with it as the bore is slightly larger just wanted to know is it worth getting an aftermarket turbo elbow aswell or will it just be a waste of cash as the gains are minimal and does anyone have a 9 or 8mr manni they want to sell and an aftermarket elbow if needed cheers p

I thought there was a difference but the standard ones are the same. Iv now got a spare elbow i dont need. Get an uprated one and job done.

Yeah from what i read their quite dear and are 2.97" so basically 3"

I'd spend the extra mate and get a decent one,you get what you pay for at the end of the day.

Just 9 turbo mate that's it really already got all the other supporting mods running around 370 at the mo at 1.8 bar was thinking about cams aswell but for the price and the pain of fitting them I thought its not really worth it for the gains so hoping with the 9 tubby I can get 2 the 400bhp mark
