I think around the 400 to be reliable with other parts

Rod job would be best thing to do. Then turn the boost up to 2 bar

Not the best Paul but first thing i would do.

Then a nice map to get rid of the limiter in 1st.

The rods on the x's are not great,,
The piston will except an uprated rod without any machining

What exhaust, induction kit is best for the x? Saw the his mushroom is it I think that any good? What is a boost control I assume as the name suggests it controls the boost I hv come from a focus st so all it had was the turbo gauge on top of dash?

As said rod job on an x is the way to go, and wouldn't cost the world to do. £5k would get you some decent power.

I can get away wit things if I don't touch the engine and re map. Know the guy at chris variva where I got it from. Lookin at this December for re map then it will b 2 years old so if anything was goin to go wrong u would of thought it would of by then. I live in long eaton which is between notts and derby.

Not to far from Santa pod , I'd wait till end of year or warranty their are weak areas on the x, I don't know them all as I'm still finding out myself

You won't need cams on the standard turbo

The map runs very rich on a standard x so with an exhaust and filter you will get good results without a map. Even so it is worth having it checked
Exhaust is the main thing as that standard hks is very restrictive.
