Trip to the scrapyard, look what I found :(

Took a strole down to my local scrap yard and this is what I found, feel so sorry for it just sat there lol

A1 Scrap yard in reading not sure what it's story is, if it was taken away for no insurance they don't sell the whole car to the public, ud have to phone and ask as I'm not too sure it's pretty mint except obv it's in a scrappy so it might have damage lol.

It's the whole shell and last time I looked it had the turbo and engine, cuz I tried to get it off lol, didn't check today what is under the bonnet tho

Turbo is the smallest fitted to an Evo and it was only put on the IV

Engine has a badly designed bottom end so sufferes crank walk and it's not fixable so you see rubbish :razz:

We have a IV engine sat on the floor in our unit which came out my mates car when he wrote it off. We just rob bits off it like nuts and bolts, water pump. I had a plug lead off it the other day

Turbo is kicking around somewhere too but all pretty much worthless. Shame really :sad:

Just seen this... cheeky git chris

None issues with the 4 engine and crank walk can be fixed. New oil channel routed to help with the crank and uprated internals. Regular inspections with sump off when you service it just to check and all is good For the cost of going stroker with all forged internals the 4 block could be a cheap option...

aw that is sad, I hate seeing once awesome cars getting scrapped, doesn't look as if there is anything fatally wrong with it either...

I'd have it if you have the space (if I were you) And that's coming from a non-evo owner.
