Girlfriend has drove my car, and kerbed my front nearside alloy, yes that right the expensive one i brought and were only just refurbed before fitting them.
gun metal grey with shiny silver metal doesn't look good.

Shes done it to our daily 59 plate Seat twice when it was a couple of months old too.

It looks like it is only on the outer lip so you may get away with having only that section refurbished don't you think???

Not a bad idea and they look good in the colours that are available, might even add some value to a car

By the looks of it Diccon, it would seem that they are rather like hub caps in that they have inner locking clips and just press on.

If I am wrong then I am sure Stevo will be back to correct me.

I think I will be getting some to try them out. They will give any car a new look and for the price they are def worth a punt don't you think????

they are part of the tyre. Bridgestones mine are. The rubber sticks out past the rim about 1/4 of an inch to protect the rims!

hey stevo,
there on about an actual guard which goes onto your rim to protect your alloy i know what your on about i have that tyres 2 but they wont always protect against kirbing if you take a look at the link in first page u will see what there talking about think ill be getting a set, look really good 2??
