not to say all aldi stuff is crap, i have bought a small compressor for 50 bout 4 years ago and still going!!

Lol it won't be, aldi one will be a cheap copy. The clarke ones are a great purchase. I got a snap on one years ago, cost a small fortune but I trust it's accuracy and it's calibrated every year 
I'd rather Pay once and get it right than under tighten say stuff like wheel nuts, it's not worth the risk.
