Anyone using this app? Have downloaded the knock detector plugin & the racingmeter but am still learning how to use it. Did manage to check mates Scooby and tell him his O2 sensor was failing, gave me the fault code & then let me reset his engine management light.

I'd personally go evoscan with the tactrix 2.0 lead

But you'll need to pay for the wireless dongle, evoscan is a dedicated logger but it will cost about 180 for the lead but you can map the car with that lead also

The wireless dongle cost £7. I would be terrified of being able to alter anything on the car for fear of destroying it. Just thought it was ok for reading any fault codes, plus letting me see what is happening realtime in the engine.

The one i have is connected via bluetooth. Mate got it off ebay but couldn't get it to work with his Iphone, my Samsung paired with it straight away. Will post you a pic of it bud.

You can use the 1.3 tactrix for datalogging only on 5-6 ecu and remapping also on 8-9

Couple of pics of the adaptor Simon. Works really well. No problems connecting to it at all.

I know this isn't any use to a professional, but if it can read fault codes gotta save you the cost of diagnostics especially as it gives you the code. The downside I suppose is that if your the dodgy type you can clear the code before selling on a car.

You can flash the fault code in an evo with out spending £7 anyway lol

downloaded the App!!! now off to ebay to get a dongle hahaha.

This would be good to read out dtcs on newer cars, and pretty cool over the mobile

You'll only get boost if the ecu has a MAP sensor wired to it!!!

What's a MAP sensor?
All I can go on is the realtime information which is showing Acceleration, Revs, Throttle, Speed, Boost & Coolant.

*Just googled it, understand now, sort of*.
