If you do it , do it once with coilovers.
Lowering springs and the X don't agree.
They kill the stock billies after a while.

How long is 'after a while', a lot of people have said this but never actually given an idea.
Mine's done 5k of spirited driving and is perfectly fine but I know its not that many miles yet.

Think I'm getting mine done first think in the new year, just waiting/hoping to see what I get off Santa!
@Zipzon, what rims you got on there? Also looking for 2nd set and they look great! Rotas?

Mine lasted about 8 months with two trackdays.

Coilovers might cost more, but when you take the cost of fitting and geo done twice it brings the cost down a little.

Rota's in Bronze. Back on standard wheels for the moment tho as they need a refurb :arms:

Ok, that is good to know.

Mine are actually 2nd hand and have been tracked for MLRSS once or twice so if unlucky I should start worry now.....

Some have no problem, i think it's just luck of the draw.

Luck is something I tend to be short of..........

I bought them with the knowledge that they have failed for some but for the price I paid it is worth it and it allows me to save some more money for the future needs :)

It looks better lowered but when I put springs on my last life car but it ruined the ride and it was so hard on the roads with speed bumps & holes.
