No im sure it is great. Plenty of people seem to have them so im sure they would have been vocal if they were crap!
But that vid is defiantly being misrepresented. The vid he makes is not the one demo'd. Watch where his thumb is on the paper at the end and compare with the 'making'. Not the same video.

The alleged playback looks exactly the same to me

Well mine came today
Comes with 3 different mounts, a lanyard and a silicon case. All looks good. It says charge the battery before using. So i promptly ignored that and strapped it to the bumper and went for a spin!
Yeah it ran out of battery in about 2 minutes lol

First impressions are good. Great bit of kit, great mounts and nice to get a case to deflect some road spray. Decent quality video in my hand. Will see what its like on the car tomorrow.

Experiment 1:
Mini1 - Stream test

Setup is camera strapped to the sun visor, connected to a PC. PC is running Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder and encodes straight to an FLV.

Result:
Video isnt terrible. The mic on the laptop is used and is a bit sensitive. The mount is obviously crap. File size is good!
Easy to set the composition.

Lessons Learned:
Less floppy mount needed.
More battery needed on the laptop.
