Thinking of getting an e8

looking at a sliver 8 fp 300 waiting on a call back now. Where the sticky with want evo's got what? Really want to know want hot side the turbo has and what the cam's are good for. Power wish and what else you get! Its not a MR. Have looked over the road at the model comparison but didn't say!

Cams are just stock Evo 4G63 ones which means 256* inlet and 260* exhaust, the only 4G63 with milder cams is the 260 and obviously the 9's have mivec/VVT. As for what power they are good for, well how much boost are you going to run. Some guys are running over 420 BHP on the stock tubby, cams and even internals running silly amounts of boost.

Personally I would change cams once going past 360ish BHP to give better mid range power & torque, but it's not a must-have thing to do, just makes for a more responsive car and more area under the power/torque graphs meaning more power & torque at any given point in the rev range than stock cams.

They have a 10.5 hotside on the tubby as standard on the 8 onwards, older cars has a 9.8 hotside.

9 a bit out of my price range to be fair getting an 8 will be a bit of a push! But we'll running 3 car's at the mo well 2 and a van so i thought put the two car's together and save money. And i don't want any other car than an evo so a newer evo it must be, she's happy new car im happy newer evo lol still waiting for the fella to get back to me.

spoke to the fella and got my arm ripped off on the trade in for my evo and the Bird's 51 golf gti turbo! 3k for both ouch lol so mite try and sell instead but will take ages the way thing's are. But still don't want to rush there's a couple i like. Will post link's up later to see what you guy's think.
