Thing I need to keep an eye on with my evo 6??

Hi all ! Just purchased my first Evo 6 gsr ,lovely car ! Just wanting to know if there is anything I should keep an eye on or any common problems with these cars I should look out for , as you are all aware you talk to different people they slag the car- what you buying one of them for etc etc but you buy what you obviously like and I am very pleased with my purchase any information will be much appreciated .cheers ant:shock:

- Whilst you're underneath checking for rust, see if it's been undersealed as well.
- Turn right on full lock and if it makes a constant clunking noise then that will most likely be your diff bolts needing to be replaced.

Rust is the biggest problem in my opinion as it's almost a never ending battle whereas if there is something wrong with the engine or suspension etc, that can be fixed or modified.

Great thanks guys just had the Evo properly waxoyled today and they said there was just a slight bit of surface rust ,mainly on the under carridge for the spare wheel, nothing major! PHEW!

How you finding your 6? Never get bored of the turbo boost?
I've gone from a 6 GSR to a Hyundai Coupe and even though it drank fuel, needed new tyres every year and kept me (and my wallet) busy by introducing new problems on the odd occasion, I miss the thing! I'm sure you'll love owning your 6.

Need to get some pics up mate :)

It's a bit of a project, lots need doing on it ,it's putting out 320 bhp so puts a smile on my face, I think you have a love or hate relationship with one of these cars, I just love the bloody thing even when it does eat the bloody wallet! Lol.
