Well it was going to happen sooner or later!

The strange thing is that it is something the Stig had to fight for and not a case of him having had been caught out by the press.

Sure, they were on to him and had been making allegations but nothing was ever set in stone. The bosses at the BBC were gunning for the revelation to stay secret which left him with no alternative but to take his case to the High Court to win the right! The BBC coincidentally still deny that he is the Stig

Well worth knowing who he is as he has a great story to tell and I personally can't wait to get my hands on his autobiography which spans his life and in particular his professional career which includes a stint in the special forces (SAS) amongst other things.

The BBC say that they were trying to block the revelation as they feel that viewers enjoyment of the Top Gear show will decrease now that the news is out!

The stig has been many people, and when certain cars go for testing they obviously send there own racing driver as well.

I reckon they'll "kill him off" again as a character so it looks like the stig has changed.

There may well be more than one man under the helmet but I am fairly certain that the driving side of things is always left to Ben.

I hardly think they will pay Ben's rate for just walking around in the suit to see if public transport is quicker than the car in London.

I found out it was ben a good 8month ago through another forum,there was certain evidence released,id like to read his book,I wana no how an ex sas guy becomes one of the most talked about race drivers. Aparently there guna kill him off by the top gear team beatin him up n takin his suit off him to make a joke out of it all.

I heard it was Ben a long time back, some builder found the gear and blah, blah, blah.....at least it's shut up those die hard idiots that swore on their mums lives that it's schumaccer (not sure/bothered if spellin is right) They must feel right twats just about now

He's a top driver and I hope they come up with a scheme that fills the gap, it'll be a damn shame if they don't kill him off now. Never know with the BBC though!

TAKE A DEEP BREATH..................
The only reason they interviewed him and made out at the time that he is the Stig was because he was the only person on the Planet that Ferrari would let loose in their baby on the Top Gear Track so the BBC tied it in into one surreal experience which most Jones' took to be surreal
AND BREATH AGAIN!!!
Just goes to show how gullible we are becoming as a nation..........

This nation has always been gulable,our stupidity levels are in most cases droppin( I came to this conclussion after watchin crystal maze from the 90s) but there is still the odd one or two dummys around

Most people who watched top gear and were not really car buffs or inthusiast though it was schumacher cant really blame them people believe anything, like bin laden living in a cave in afghanistan i rest my case.

The autobiography of the real stig would be verry interesting to read though after reading what he has done in his life time.....
