Ha take some vids and send them to him, well at least it's not bottom end. You'll have to get one of those camera things in and have a look.

Have you got upgraded lash adjusters in yet? I know on mine they make a right racket, well they did until I used a slightly different grade oil.

I need to get the 3mm's in mine soon

Yeah I've done that mate. His initial thought was big ends too.

I'm doing a few more tests to it tomorrow hopefully. I'm still prepared for the massive bill of a rebuild tbh tho lol.

Maybe if something's hit a piston from the head, if not worst case is hopefully a new head or rebuild of the head. Won't be too bad.
