Right here the spec nothing to fancy but room for minor improvement,
2001 jdm imported in 2008
Upgraded bits are
Aps direct cold air induction
Aps ic water cooler tank,
Aps intercooler
Hks 3" exhaust full decat
Samco hard pipe kits
Hks dumpvalve
Hks turbo timer
Blitz spec s boost controller
Tein coilovers
18" wheels
Apparent it's got a cusco diff fitted but there's no proof of this in paper work I've no way of doing a visual check unless I strip it down...

Bad bits no sign of mapping, tracking needs doing and acd button isn't working I told this is because tits fitted with a cusco diff imo it's just needs replaced as it's probably screwed but there are no dodgy noises coming from it!

Cheers

Oh....you'll know if it has a Cusco diff fitted :) Even if it has a Cusco rear diff, the ACD should still remain functional (unless, obviously, the centre has also been replaced with a mechanical equivalent). The fact that there are no "dodgy noises" :D makes me suspect you don't have a Cusco, just a knackered AYC\ACD pump.

A cusco diff will be noisy...a noise you won't miss, it's a loud clunk, clunk, clunk when you turn.

The acd is the same kind of gig only on the centre diff where the ayc is on the rear diff. It controls the operation of the centre diff electronically, but it uses the same pump and fluid that the ayc does, so you can't get rid of ayc on a VII+ and not still keep the pump for the acd. If it is stuck on tarmac then it could be that all three lights are on indicating an error, but the gravel and snow have been disconnected. It's actually quite a common thing to do :\

Note that the snow\gravel\tarmac is a function of the ACD, not the AYC. As I said, even with no AYC your ACD should still function.

How is the odb test done again to check the acd/ayc as that should make all lights flash if there not disconnected if I'm right?
