The Evo has gone

I decided to sell the evo in favour of something cheaper to run and maintain and more practical with kids and not have to worry about them eating in it lol so for the minute im in a V reg Golf TDi not a bad car but will now allow me to get some funds together and kids get older and if and when i come back to an evo will be a later model

Foxy the offer still stands for the bumper you got my number i have all the stuff to sort it.

I will be back but i need something as a daily driver and the evo was not practical for that i will be back in an evo but will be a VII on next time round and i can then use the Evo at weekends and will use the golf as my daily driver

Shame, but you gotta do what you gotta do, and if its a later 1 your after then should be a good plan.
Just got a golf gti as my run around while we save some towards a new evo, loving the way she drives, not fast but quite torquey and fun to drive.
Hope you manage to back in an evo in the future

someone got a tidy car there!!

i think that knocking has finally cured.... i changed the spigot rings and got the wheels balanced at a different garage to normal... 2 of the wheels were over 40g out!!

just hope that was the problem... thanks for checking the other day though!!

Ill still be about i not owned a Rover for over 5 years but im still on that site everyday have some good friends on there same as here and im organizing Trax for them


It was not practical because


I had to use it everyday

My kids like to eat in the car and i did not want it getting trashed

The little scrotes who live over the road love to throw stones it had been hit a few times ( hopefully they getting evicted )

I did not want a perfectly good car getting ruined


My plan is to now save for a newer Evo VII on or maybe a MK2 GTO Twin turbo and to build a garage in the front garden and will just use the evo or GTO for weekends and will keep the golf as the daily driver.

Someone has got a good car it went with quite a few mods in the end.


Look to the future i say bigger and better things to come

i have banned the kids from eating or drinking in the car they can do what they want ( within reason ) in the espace but NOT the evo i'm such a mean mummy lol
