Someone commented on the cossie in my workshop from my Evo pics, so i thought I would post up some shots of the Cossie!!

I have asked the owner (My Mechanic, good old Dave) and he has said its all ok for me to post up pics :wub:

Its one car i have always wanted to own but a good one now is £££££ and i cant justify spending that sort of money on a sierra

Sometimes its best to leave a car as a dream nothing worse then getting one i suppose and not liking it. As you say they are dated and would not feel very refined i would not of thought. I use to have an XR4i it was good fun but you could feel you was in an old car

yea cos i would be gutted if i tried out a school boy dream and hated it.

even the escort cos is said to be the same to drive so i have leave them alone too :sad:

Don't get me wrong, i can understand the niche of these cars, but i just don't see the appeal. I've driven a few and they just feel like an old car.

I wilk deffo get good pics of engine bay and tidy interior.
Might even try put up a vid as this cossie sounds AWSOME!!

He Loves his car (calls it his little baby) and he really does look after it..
He said he loves the drive and its very comfy for him..

very nice. My old boss had one. I was only 18 at the time. He had the 312 bhp upgrade. Was so fast! but like said bit old now.

I think it goes with the era you grew up in. Cossies were around when i was younger and they seemed to be a massive deal at the time as they were super car performance in a family hatch back/saloon, a bit like Evo and Scooby's are now i suppose. But the Cosworth Fords are getting old, old building techniques causing rust/rot in areas and people spend £1000's getting them like new..again, i suppose like today's age with Evo's.

i got a rwd saff on my driveway at the moment in bits, headgasket gone, and i cant wait to get it on the road. the head is up at A1 rally sport being sorted and i should have it back tuesday so when i get back from work it will be running again within the hour. i think if it wasnt for cossies there wouldnt be evos and scoobys. evos are starting to rot now to

Cossies are good fun and go well with passiobate enthusiasts, but i hate the shape lol
