Right then mate,
I got the call around 4:30pm and was told we can only have a pitch on the Sunday, something to do with owners club day or something. Also, the offer rate they are giving us will not include camping, but we will be able to get week end tickets at a discounted rate regardless which will allow camping over the week end.

The only thing that I was not happy with was when the girly told me:

So I asked her, does this mean that if we were to pay for a pitch, we still might turn up on the day and be told that there is no space available???

She said, can I call you back please on that???

I said, you might as well but do be quick because it is nearly 5pm now.

I got a call back and was told by her that her supervisor will call me in the morning.

It looks promising none the less so I am going to start getting some plans together over the next few days in anticipation of the week end mate.

What's the verdict??

As far as I no theyl b doin a 1 day club pitch as that will be the show n shine day,although id av thought at an event like this it'd b all week,ill double check this tomoz with the ccuk organiser,if we pay for a pitch they can't take it away from us,all they can do is move us,it happened at rising sun,evo nuts had a pitch and were moved because ccuk had to be on that pitch as it was the biggest. Wot they shud be offering us is a weekend ticket plus club pitch,I don't understand why they're making it hard,jus give us a discounted price for weekend pass,camping and show stand,sum of these ticket sales n organisers can b a little slack at times lol

That's all fair enough andy and it does not bother me too much, I was kind of not liking the 2 day thing personally as I have managed events before and road shows on behalf of charities and it can ruin your whole week and leave you too tired at the end of it.

Something that I can't be asked with at all.

If we get a pitch which I am sure that we will, I am not interested in getting moved once it's set up. Also, we need to be away from MLR and Evo nuts and 123.net (if 123.net) is going to be there.

I might evo have a word with Stig and see if he wants to go in on it with us, he has great examples of the old Evo's that he can sort out but that's another story all together.

We need to go pay a visit to the next event, I need to make sure that we have the right combo of everything which includes flyers etc and see what the rest have to offer.

I never pay too much attention to the stands whenever I go as it's all about the 1/4 mile for me and my crew.

I wunt worry too much about the weekend thing,jus kick back n relax untill its time to sort the stand,ill help wi that,its just a matter of getting sum leaflets sorted like u said,n maybe a banner and a flag or 2,it doesn't have to be difficult,iff ppl jus chip in or park wen asked rather than pissin about.ye pm wud b easy,or jus a simple txt wud b even quicker.
