Well apparently we might be in with a chance of getting a stand at the JapShow Finale in October:

JapShow - Japanese Performance Car Event


I will be having some final talks with them on Monday and if all goes well then we will have a great first meet.

I am trying to organise something where we can have a map and run thing going on too as well as a new member recruitment drive and a competition on the day with goodies to give away.

Hopefully it goes the way I want it to on Monday, the only reason I have been holding off on a meet is because I could not find a place suitable where all that I had planned in things that will benefit members can be achieved.

This is a 2 day event so still not 100% sure if it is the right one for us. I would prefer a single day event as these things do tend to drag on if you are tied up doing something specific.

Add to that, it is mostly out door so the fun is dictated by the weather and you know what it is like in our fair Kingdom

Still, if you consider the hours that I am putting in here it adds up to a hell of a lot more then I was doing when I was at work

El if u need any help with anything ill do what I can.2 day events are good as long as ppl can do the full 2days,the weather can be a pain but if uve got a good crowd then it doesn't make much difference,me n the ccuk lot last yr slid to the dance tent n back it was that muddy,jus made the most of it realy,it was a crazy wkend.I'm always lookin out for people to sign up,everywer I go now I tell em about the forum.

I think there are going to have to be some changes made to this thread. That scrolling page idea of yours might just be the ticket because when there's 4 or more members logged in it can get a little erratic to say the least!!!!

I am going to have to look into this one further for sure.

Yep looks that way,ill be on for a while,fingers x may have sold the turbo timer and hose kit,someone wants to see some pics.don't suppose u no anyone that might want a gizzmo controler?(allows u to set the revs for when the 2nd cam kicks in) if we get a stand sorted ill get mallo to do the evo owners feature,get a pic of the ppl n cars n get all the info printed
