He almost caught a lefty when he tried to accuse me of speeding the saucy b*****d. The police wouldn't turn up to qualify that there was no way i could of hit him as nobody was hurt and it was off the main road so its my word against his which = sky high premium next year if we go the insurance route as there were no witnesses - so he's gonna pay some of the bill. Its only cosmetic and she still drives like a peach so it could have been alot worse i suppose. I have bought a replacement wing, bonnet, pair of headlights and now all i need is a tidy Scotia White front bumper and 1x front fog.

The thing is it's 50/50 that he would win!

When you hit into the back of another vehicle, it can end up going either way, regardless of whether or not the driver pulled out on you unless there are independent witnesses and the vehicle pulling out is not fully in the lane at the point of collision.

Thats what i was thinking El + he had his mate in the van with him so essentially it would be both their words against mine. In hind site i should of said i suspected he had been drinking then im sure they would have been up like a shot but i was a bit gutted abount the motor at the time. Also i have £500 excess so if it went 50/50 i would have to pay that anyway. EVOIV MJC, ive got all his details but the damage seems to be purely cosmetic and it still drives and handles fine. I took your advice and rang John@Evobreakers who is supplying me with a wing and bonnet in Scotia White which is a bonus.
The slam panel behind is ever so slightly twisted. Should it 'jig' it out or cut the damaged area and weld a new piece in? what do you guys think?

Also just bought a GReddy exhasut system and a decat pipe which was on for 1 day. Was also planning to go to santa pod on the saturday so he messed up whole weekend. Hey ho

nothing worse i hope he is true to his word very same thing happened to me in a saxo i had and luckily the driver admitted responsibility and payed up hopefully u will be as lucky but it is always best to ring the police at least then it is recorded.
