you gotta love the goverment my mrs brought a c2 vts from new in 2006 road tax was £125 for a year for a 1.6 16v vts now 6yrs later its bloody £170 for a year this country needs to do something about the goverment and road tax

Its the same for my 500cc Quad which covered a whole 600 miles last year!
I dont mind paying a load for my van as it travels a fair bit so the cost feels a bit more justified in a way.
But either way they get enough from the tax on fuel and surely thats a fairer way as the more fuel burnt, the more emissions and the more tax paid on the fuel.

Been to look at one this afternoon....insurance is £217 with falcon , couldn't find anyone else ?
Robbing twats on tax aswel.....why can't they be taxed as a bike???
