So heres the story so far... I'm looking to rebuild by TME TD05 16g 10.5 turbo due to a slight rattling on the internal wastegate and the fact that someone has clearly snapped one of the studs at some point making a mess of getting it out.
Last week I picked up a TD05 20g 10.5 with the intension of just using the turbine housing, however I was a bit silly and didn't really have a close look at it when I bought it and.... its a bit shit. Its had a blob of weld put on the wastegate flaper and also on the pivot arm

I have desided that I want to use this new turbine housing to rebuild my 16g and then the old turbine housing to use on the 20g, after putting new bearings and seals in that is, but has anyone ever done this and will I be able to use this hotside as it states its 11.5?
