Synchronic BOV

Just hunting around on the net as you do and came across the synapse engineering synchronic BOV and Re-Circ Valves. From the reviews it looks pretty good and as I get surge on my 8 from the 9 turbo thought I might give it a try. At the minute I run a r spec BOV but these synchronic valves stay open under vacuum (built to do so) so was going to change to a recirc. Will i need to remap as its not running a MAF?
