Switch in centre console????

On my evo 8 MR there is a switch in the centre console next to the cup holders which says auto/manual. When you push it a light comes on the dash? What is this switch?

Oh rite lol, is that to make the inlet temp even cooler? How is it activated on auto? When a temp sensor gets too hot? And i guess there must be a bottle in the engine bay you have to top up???

To be honest there wank! Best to remove it and run a cold feed to the filter that's what I'm going, you push it forward and a green light should come on the right side of dash and when it gets to a temp it sprays.

Ah ye i just read up on them, so when you push it forward thats in auto mode? I get the light come up on the dash, and it will come on when a certain temp is reached ? and in manual you have to hold the switch down to keep it spraying?
