as title is it safe to run your evo on super unleaded ive been using it for a year now but noticed alot of guys are using v-power its not readily available round here so am i ok to keep using super?

id say anything over 98ron. v power is not really available around here either so i use tesco 99 momentum

shouldn't really be run on less than 99ron (vpower/tesco momentum)

So idealy a remap would be the safe option to run lesser fuel, but if you get the car checked for det then you may be fine on 97ron anyway......I would get it checked!

i used to drive 15 miles each way to get vpower
that was untill my local tesco started doing momentum 99 and mapped to suit

your only allowed to do 2,000 miles a year anyway arnt you lol:razz:


also if you buy a performance car then you need to expect to pay performance prices

vpower is the same price as most places super unleaded anyway

corsa will do nicely right about now then

i was off work for 13 months and not once have i comprimised my engines health

besides, if you cant afford the right jungle juice then i would put money on it that you couldnt afford a rebuild
