I left my interiour lights on the other day so battery was flat in the morning however it still had a bit of life in it. i then put my battery charger on it and "boost started" it. then this happened (watch video) i took it to my local garage who sugested i took battery off and hold both terminals together for a minute which i did and it cured the problem. Does anyone know why it did this ?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EvvONcJClg

yes i boost started it and it imediatly it started idling on choke at 3500rpm then dropped to 2000rpm . after 5 mins it started hunting. then i drove it 15 miles and it was still hunting. i then put batt terminals together for 1 min and it cured itself. my local garage said give batt terminals a try as on modern cars it something sometimes resets itself "Strange"

After battery disconnect the car has to re-learn fuel trims etc... it goes through around 4 cycles (I believe),each around 5 mins... during this time the RPMs adjust whilst the ECU figures out what is what...
