if you like it go for it,its your car never listen to the wife 
iv'e done the whole decal job before on other cars (girlfriend also said no lol)this is what i found some people will like it and some will hate it and will laugh at you as you drive by,people will also stare alot if you don't mind any of that do it.
oh and round town kids will wave shout run long side you in traffic and all sorts.

I had an Ibiza GTi all stickered up yonks ago.
Not sure if I'd ever do anything like it again.
I'd worry about future paint damage if I'm honest.
That first pic does look great though.
