ok guys, i know this has been going on for a wee while but its not been the easiest thing to set up. we have associated a deal with Race Developments aka Tim Radley on his stage 1 and 2 inlet manifolds. There manifolds are proven and running in some absolutely top spec cars, including tims previous demo car, which achived some crazy results in the power department.
the key thing for me also is the time to get these done will be significantly shorter at 4 weeks from recieve the cores and i will be sending the cores tommrow
Stage 1
Port and flow the runners, matching them to the gasket as shown in the first photo below. The throttle body plate is also smoothed and the nasty transition on the inside removed and replaced with a radius - up to 65mm only. This helps airflow into cylinder 4 which is always the weak point on these engines and the most prone to detonation. Price £180.
Stage 2
Cut the plenum apart and flow it inside, modifying the runner entry, polishing the inside, then welding it all back up whilst carrying out all the stage 1 mods as well. This can be seen in the other 2 photos. This spec we've tested on our own 9GT test car which made 750bhp and 640ftlbs so there is certainly no flow restriction with the spec. Price £385.
Additional to the 2 stages above we can modify the throttle body mounting plate to allow for a throttle body larger than 65mm. A common mod is to run an S90 which is 70mm. This requires welding around the side of the existing plate to give it more support then porting the entry out and again putting a nice radius on the turn. This is an additional £50.
