Right as the thread states the break on the front left hand side of the car squaeks not all the time only under verry light breaking but it does not come about all the time, i know uneven wear or if the callipers are done up too tight might cause the breaks to squeak.

But ive seen the break pads and they look good and there is no uneven wear or anytin like that so was wondering if it could be sometin else just for my knowledge really as ill be changing them end of the month for uprated ones.

which leads me to my second question what pads should i go for when i change them what makes????

Go for Performance Friction pads.

As for the squeak, I think that the pads must just be inferior in quality and there is probably a filing or two that have not worn down with the rest of the surface area.

You will only know for sure when they are removed.

If you go uprated on the pads then you will be better off going for new discs too, uprating the discs is not necessary, stock items will suffice.

Performance Friction run rings round EBC buddy.

They are made to last under harsh braking conditions and have minimum fade.

If you go for these then you are better off with new discs unless the ones you have are in great condition.

When fitting these particular pads, everything has to be cleaned around the hubs meticulously, including the vents on the discs.

Once done, you are supposed to take the Evo onto your private race track and drive the car up to at least 90MPH and then brake to a halt, give the car 5 minutes and then do it again.

This process has to be done around 5 times.

There is a seller in London that has them at a good price so just go through the sellers until you find the right one.
