Linking to a thread is no use.

I suppose it would be better for it to have its own section created. Bit like pic gallery parts for sale etc

Nick, can you sort this please :)

Do you really think there are enough to warrant a full section?
I personally think not so a single thread is enough?

A single thread can never be found.
People are more likely to look at and write on it if its on the main forum home page.

I could think of a few more to add as well if you want.

Technical questions
Bodywork and detailing
Parts forsale
Cars for sale
Track days

Quite the opposite! Empty sections are a great way to kill a forum!
Id rather have few sections but have them busy so people are happy to post...

and thats told you lee ;) you changed mine and foxys thingy yet nick??

No he hasn't yet Geoff !! Maybe by next Christmas a nick ? lol

But back to the point of different sections for different things I do agree to some length with what Lee is saying, cos i for one can not be bothered to trawl through the thousands of threads to find the one I want and when i write it in the search box, well it's a confuffling mess and I can never find it.

Or even if your against the different sections for different things then maybe put them as sticky's ??
I've spotted countless evo's around my end, mk, borehamwood, elstree, blackheath, and Devon and was gonna post them up but can't be bothered to look up the spotted matey thread.

But also people won't post about stuff if the sections arnt there. Also it's a nightmare trying to find certain stuff cos it's mashed in with something completely different.

Info about track day I'm attending and will be happy to keep a diary with costing etc for others to see and for people to talk about I had to post in Motorsport section. I'm doing a track day not taking part in a grand prix ffs :)

The sections we have are quite generic so really most things are covered to some extent.
Ill create a spotted sub forum, but the others aint happening yet.
As for trackdays, it couldnt be more motorsport if it tried!:arms:
Technical questions - Tech section - Exact match!
Bodywork and detailing - Tech - not perfect but I dont think we have enough traffic for individual sections.
Parts forsale
Cars for sale - These two will go in the new sales bit when its done. (same timescale as Geof and Foxys perms ;)
Track days - Motorsport - perfect fit

No no no track days are things that people take part in. Motorsport is more of a talked about profession ie F1, rally, moto gp etc

Also after recently looking at AA cover there terms state they will collect from track days cars shows because they are for road going vehicles and are not competitive so different rules means 2 different things so I'd like to so them split please. Or rename it to track days cos things like drift days, sprint days, quarter mile run days all come under track days cos not competitive :)
