Hi there every1! I hav just bought an evo 6 that was imported 6 months ago. When i got it every thing was still in KPH I hav got the speedo to read in MPH but the odo meter still has the amount of KM it has done! Is there any way I can get it changed?

Thanks

Hi and welcome along buddy!!!

There are some Converters that only convert to MPH.

I assume that that is the one you have fitted.

There are other converters that delimit too, that is the type you need to get hold of.

Did you receive fitting instructions with the item???

You may have left a wire disconnected or have a dodgy connection.

By the way, can you please post up a Newbie Thread and update your User Profile to include your Location! ;)

The thing I got delimited the car and sorted the speedo. But the odo meter says 120000 km images of bein about 70000 miles.

Thanks and will get my profile updated right away.

think most imports stay that way then most people just do the calculation to work out how many miles its done and make a note of what the reading was when it was changed cos now the reading will just go up in miles :)

there are a few places that can adjust it for you, I think xenonshop over the road can do it as I remember a thread with a few people kicking off because I think you just tell them what mileage you want and they'll do it.....which will obviously be abused (dont quote me though)

That is generally the way it has been done thus far but I am sure there is a delimiter that allows the car to clock in Miles and not KM.

I might just be tripping though! :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

I remember seeing that Thread.

Anyone who specialises in mileage correction can deal with it for around £55.

I asked in at the local mitsubishi dealership and they told me that the only way it could be done was to get a new speedo.

Thanks for your info so far!

Do a search for odometer correction there are plenty of specialists that do it. I know of 3 off the top of my head but they are in south wales:whistling:
