Hi guys need some help. My speedo randomly keeps dying then comes back to life again any clues what it could be cheers.

Check and see if it is sat in place. Might be a loose connection. Four screws to remove the plastic surround, then 4 more if I remember right. Drop steering wheel to lowest point and remove the plastic surround by pulling top section towards you first. Be careful not to yank it off (might break)!

Yep, mine did the same. As it gets worse it the needle just bounces around quicker than the rev counter can go up and down.
I found the speedo drive itself to be faulty. It's in the top of the gearbox right at the back of the engine bay. Only a couple minutes to change it but you do have to do it by feel cos there is so much other stuff in the way.
