its ok the long wait is over and the civic will soon be back on the road

engine is now in the car and most of the loom is back in
few more bits to go in yet though

Yes it's a b18c4 engine, the one closest is a donner for the engine after the one on the far side melted the rings and so wrecked the liners.

Once the car is up and running the donner will be stripped for parts and scrapped

Well spotted nick !! Yes she is turbo'd it's one of my mates cars and it's been stood without an engine for 18 months now until be discovered why buy a used vtis engine from a breaker for £600 when you can buy a used civic vti for £500 and have loads of spares

The donner was tatty and stank of cow shite for months but a running engine which we removed and carried it round to our good friend Jamie who owns jb racing engines.

He pulled it apart for inspection and all was good so in went the forge pistons and rods and put it back together with lower compression and a lightened flywheel

Just need to figure out the pipework now cos 18 months is along time to remember where bits go and as alot of it isn't factory fit we have nothing to compare it too.

Yes it is and cos he bought a whole car we now have a spare gearbox

Can't remember lol don't even think it was driven in the wet. Done 1 track day and broke it in the morning
