Slim rad fan

Fitting a slim fan I've cut the plug off the old fan and want to reconnect the slim fan too the plug so new fan has one blue and one black wire and the plug has 4 wires blue green black and yellow can any one tell what wires go to blue on the fan and what wire go to black on the fan

You should cut the wires from the control box to fan not loom to box. Assuming you have a speed controller box mounted on the old fan unit

Hi yes it's only a single fan I just want too know what wires to connect to the blue and black on the new fan

Doesn't matter it just completes a circuit to turn it on or off

The fan will run either way round but will also go in both directions so try both ways if your mounting it on inside of rad it needs to draw away from rad and in front needs to blow through

Yeah it will run whatever way around.... Iv just put a switch on the inside near foglight switch as my control box is knackered. Cba paying far a new one lol

Great but I'm still very concussed for example could I just connect blue and black to blue and yellow and green to black

Have you tried Black to Black and Blue to Blue?

Whatever the outcome, make sure it's drawing air in and not pushing it out....
