hi evoites
anyone have any info on changing a sidelight on an evo 9. i have had a look and it looks like the front bumper needs to come off. any info would be appreciated.also any comments on service providers in essex would be a help, there is a main dealer in basidon which i would be interested in any comments on.

Wooo NO way if you dont really need to go stay away from stealers sorry dealers, can you not find a garage that deals with evos-high performance cars etc, they would be better value for money and really know their stuff about cars,,,

The sidelights can be changed by removing the screws from the black plastic under the arch and easing it away to create a gap. No need to remove the bumper. :D

thanks chaps
getting at the sidelight from the wheel arch looks a damn sight easier. the only reason i thought about the main dealer is they are willing to extend the warranty although i am not sure whether it is worth the paper it is written on.

ps pics of car to follow shortly(i have been cleaning it for 2 days)it's a black fq320,fast enough for a ex van owner;).
