First of all, I want to share a little bit of my car's history and my opinion on the undecided trade.

Well, I am currently a brz owner. I have invested a few grands on my vehicle performance wise. So far have I installed a turbo charger with a .89 compressor, new aftermarket pipes which eliminate all of the oem pipes, and a few interior mods like leather seats and gauges. My car is also currently pushing 260whp and 210lbs at 5.5 psi with a customer tune. I love the way my car currently is, and I don't need a lot of power for the way I drive. As much as I love my car, I have always admired the evos more than the subarus. What can I say? Evos have a better reputation.

Anyways, for a street driven vehicle, is an evo viii a better choice over a turbo charged brz? Honestly, I think it is because of the engine. From my previous researches, I always read about Subarus having a bad reputation reliability wise when extremely tuned. Even though my engine never had any major issues, I still fear it being a subaru because of how subaru motors are common victims of rod bearings, oil starvation, piston ring failure, etc. That is why you see mostly rebuilt engines in subarus, because most of them fail. It seems like every time I'm driving my car, I'm always anxious that unexpected problems may occur. But at the end of the day, I still love the over all feel of my car with its light weight, low center of gravity, high compression ratio, and it's rwd platform.

So my questions to the car enthusiasts:
Which would you rather have?
A turbocharged brz, or an evo viii? Or an x maybe?
Which would be more fun for daily driving?
And why?

Or

should I even worry about the problems that common subarus have, and just enjoy my car which I love so much?
