Servicing query

Hi, im new to the forum so apologise in advance if im repeating previous threads with this one.
Im planning on buying an Evo IX FQ320 or 340 over the next few months, I have my budget for the car which is fine and after looking around im sure i can get a decent car for my limit which is about 15k.

My main query is regarding servicing, I live in Plymouth and am hoping someone can suggest local garages to try.
Ive known for some time that i need a service every 4.5k miles which is fine but i also read that this costs from 260 upwards, im slightly confused now as have seen one link on here already that suggests that cost is not true, i can budget for that fine but like everyone else i dont want to be paying that amount if i dont need to.

Any advice is appreciated and again i apologise if i seem to be repeating what others have asked

depends on the service mate, i just got a service done to my 8, from Wallace performance(who specialise in jap cars, which i suggest you go to a ralliart or mitsibushi specialists) which was pretty basic, oil change, filter and ayc oil change, labour and parts included was £166,
but if uits a timimg belt service etc it could cost upto £700, depending on where you go

cheers for the advice mate, i noticed that bigger services do cost a fair bit, it was just something i read that said its from 260 upwards but then i saw a link on here which was closer to the 166 you mentioned for oil change etc

Enginetuner is in your area and is an Evo specialist that's highly recommended in the Evo world so I'd go to see them. Alan jeffries is the main man there :)

Not sure on there prices but its usually around £150 for 4.5k £190 for 9k £150 for 13.5k £90 for 18k etc.
45k is around £5-600
