Scammed in a swap

Someone here with over 600 posts offered to swap indicators with me as he wanted mine and I'd had plans to fit ones like his. I agreed since with over 600 posts I figured he was a long time member.

Since mine have been sent I've got a message saying they've been fitted but now 2 weeks later I've still not received and he's still not replying to messages despite being on here.

What can I do? I have his address and proof by messages that he's agreed to swap, can I go to the police?

I feel like an idiot because the first time I trust someone like this I get let down. Any advice?

Not really much you can do. Buying and selling can be risky and we all put our trust in each other.

There is a thread on here for people to leave feedback called rouge or rose. So post on there to help others and I hope as quite often happens this will resolve it self

If you have his address then i would go round there if you don't hear anything,hope you get it sorted though mate.

Mate use the sellers feedback thread! Sorry to hear though not nice! If you Mcfall1984 (Gary) i have bought stuff off him before and tbh it was spot on and very quick delivery! may be there is a reason for this!!!

pop round and take your lights back or wave fist. post on rogue or rose if you think you have given them sufficient time to react

I doubt the police would help you :sad: if i was you and if i didn't live to far i would pop round,you never know tho he mite have tried sending them cheap so mite take longer to arrive donkey express or something lol,but not replying is abit strange hope they turn up soon.
