I think Ollie is ready to sign up too Steve.

It might be a good time to start PM'ing every one on the list so far to get 100% confirmation.

Don't forget to ask about the lunch thing too ;)

Yes you need a boost controller Ollie!

I think that the best thing to do, for the run though, considering that your budget must be a little stretched right now too, is.......and I am going to kick my self for saying this.........whilst Sponners is rubbing his hands and laughing at me........is that you should...............GET A DAWES DEVICE BUDDY!!!!!

I can not believe I just said that :wtf: :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

El

fitting a dawes will save you pennies, quick easy install, Russ will be able to map the car in less time and you'll probably get better figures on the dyno than guys with electronic controllers :)

.....what issues have you had with the dawes El?

now it is only a power run but as far as i know they will give u hints and tips as to what needs replacing or adding to increase peformance etc

but worth knowing i think

mite be worth putting your names down here if any ones interested

I presume that Russ will have a Boost Gauge in his bag of tricks to monitor the Dawes Device if it is fitted to Ollies IV?

I just had a bad experience with one when I was a little nipper and you know what they say about trauma!!!

I just prefer electronic controllers as they can be controlled without having to raise the bonnet unless you have one of those wierd turn up and turn down thingies mounted in the dash.

I have a Dawes Device in my MR2, but try not to tell anyone! ;)

Well if they are bringing more people with them then that should be OK too!!!

It is £10 per person for refreshments throughout the duration of the day:

I am thinking Juices, Tea, Coffee, Bottled Water and Buscuits/Crisps).

Lunch which will be something that I am organising with a caterer (it will be Tandoori Chicken and Biryani with a side salad In a foil pack tray).

This is open to suggestion too as I am no Dictator!!!

If Members are thinking of bringing kiddies with them then I will need to know as soon as possible so that I can make some arrangements.

I presume Geof will be coming with his Family but I need to know about every one else too.
