Rods, Pistons & Crank!

Right then people, I'll be soon starting a build & yes will be posting the pics on here. Currently aquiring all the pieces for the puzzle. Input greatly appreciated and im sure there are others out there looking & wondering on best parts to use to get what bhp so.... What Rods, Pistons & Crank are you running & what bhp are you pushing??

Most dealers do a package deal with recommended bhp ratings...

Thanks for input Rob. Would be nice to hear specs from others for what bhp they are running etc, pros & cons they have found etc. For example ive been told wiseco pistons seem to use oil??

Depends on what bhp youre wanting really. Im over specing mine hopefully increasing reliability & then giving me a great base to build on. Is that price from Ross sport?

It's going to be more of a refresh as everything in there is fourteen years

When it comes to internals, there is a strict formula that is adhered to.

It is based around your specific requirements.

Most manufacturers rate their products to a set horsepower.

You just need to decide the desired outcome and then pick from what is available, depending on your budget of course.

I have never heard that about Wiseco pistons before. That is purely down to an error whilst fitting the pistons / rings IMO.

Oliver Rods are quite a bit of an over kill if you ask me.
