Is there some sort of guide, do you need to rub down prime ect?

No there isn't a guide so perhaps you could do us a step by step as you go :razz:

Yes as with painting anything you'll need to sand it first and yea you can use a primer depending on what colour your going to paint it

I paid to get mine sodium blasted to remove all the paint The great thing about it is that it leaves a bare surface to prime and the sodium dissolves in water so it doesn't leave grit/beads that could potentially get caught in the engine's oil ways.
