just bewarned when buying from him and dont pay by paypal gift


bought a avcr off him on sunday he said delivery would be on tuesday nothing then another member mails me saying hes paid for the same item, eventually get a mail saying hed pay me back 100% 4.00pm friday nothing, hopefully ill try my credit card as pay pal wont do anything because of its a gift sick as f--k

Sorry to hear this mate, but all to common now. People have no morales left.

Not all private sellers are bad, but not worth paying as gift via paypal to a private individual, as you have found.

As a trader I prefer payment as gift to help keep cost down or ask for the 5% to be added to cover fees, the differance being you always have peace of mind a trader is likely to resolve any issues if anything was to go wrong.

Let me know when you are in the market for cams and 80 series turbo I have a few items in stock.

You should only ever pay as a gift if you know the seller or know that you will have some kind of protection if something goes wrong.

If the seller asks for a payment as a gift and you do not know them, then tell them you will pay the 4% PayPal fee as you will get the protection required that way.

I always offer the option to the buyer, this is something that any "above board" seller will point out to you in the first instance.

Did I ever tell you about the time when Greater Manchester Police got in touch with them regarding members obtaining money by deception over the road???...........

They promptly gave the Officer MY email address and said that I was the best person to contact considering that I was investigating everything.........

This would probably be a good time to ask them what percentage of the £35 comes my way right!

the facts were he had one for sale, i bought it paid extra for quick delivery
delivery tues, nothing turned up then another member says hes bought it, mailed him nothing rang him phone dead ,he emails me saying cash will be back in my account guaranteed friday 4.00pm nothing, what would you think £217 is a lot of money to me, so no i wasnt quick to pass judgement imo. yes hes got in touch on the mlr, hes promised me my money,on tues we will wait and see, hope so, i had faith in him when i bought it

its not tuesday yet mate an the guy has had problems aswell from reading the thread next door,if he has ripped you off then fair enuff but we are supposed to be a community both here and next door and it appears that the guy is having a rough time of it an unfortunately you have been caught up in his turmoil

i for 1 feel if he does pay you back then alot of whats been said as been unjustified and alot of appolagies are going to have to be made
