oops, I even read that and still posted! lol long day at work
I like the Sigma remote, a little smaller than toads, but don't choose for that reason :)

I've got the toad it's spot on go a foot near the car and it gives a warning tone if they stay near it and set the alarm off I'll get a text message I can also start my car on the key fob and turn it off, if somebody steals my car with the keys or without I can text my car telling it to stop, it's spot on

Yeh spot on, I hardly use the remote start to b honest cause I've got the blitz nur spec r exhaust and it would do the neighbours heads in if I left it in the garden ticking over pmsl

Got the Clifford myself, sensors can be a pain at times. But I guess it's just done to personal choice(money what features you want). And people will tell the one to have is blah blah blah cause it's fitted to their car,

What not ring an autos park and see if you can get an un biased opinion of the current range of alarms,

I used to have a Clifford 650x on my rst and loved it.
Remote start was useful and good fun with passers by lol

With regards to external proximity sensor, sensitivity can be adjusted by dealer and can be overridden with the key fob. Mine used to chirp at the garage wall so just used to press 2 buttons at once to turn the external off.

There's a remote start on my car, will the car start when it's in gear?

I keep getting paranoid about leaving it in gear all the time :(
