revs drop/ sometimes stalls

i have an evo 6. Heres a situation. I'll pull into the bottom of my street, maybe give it a little in 1st or 2nd, as soon as i come off the throttle and slot the car in neautral or put the clutch in the revs drop to 300-400 rpm or sometimes just cuts out. It doesn't do it if i let the car go on the over run for a while when operate the clutch or slot it in neutral.

Does anyone know what this mite be? thankyou

Most likely your dumpvalve mate it's probably an atmospheric you need a recirculating one this has been the case with every Evo I've had and it a pain in the Ass alright.

it has a tial blow off valve on atm

its wasting all the air not used in the system nothing being fed back through.

put a recirc on mate, will sound a lot better too. unless you can set it not to vent all

Evos don't like atmospheric dump valves. A split recirc/ twin port valve is the best way to go.

this is my bov

i believe this is the recirc valve

so could i still put this on the car with the boost pipes as they are?

If so where abouts do i fit it? I do have all the original pipes, airbox/recirc valve, would it be better to refit all this for performance wise just until i have my map.

Looks like a standard recirc but its been blanked off there should be two holes. It's not recirculating properly grab one of eBay mate they reasonably priced

The recirc i took a pic of is the standard evo6 what i got thrown in with the car allong with all the other original bits. The bov it has on at the moment is a tial bov.

What i wanted to knwo is could i fit a recirc valve in the place where the tial bov is?

You should have a pipe going into your inlet before turbo and another pipe coming from boost pipe, they plug into recirc, ill take a pic in a bit when I go to my car. Might be slightly diff layout as I have the 8 but same principal
