I noticed this earlier. I assumed it might be vacuum related with maybe a corroded pipe or hose. But when it happened again I was looking and my rev gauge and noticed the revs jump up maybe 500. I've never had this happen in any of m cars before and can't really explain it we'll. hope this makes sense.

Any help appreciated !

If you are running a aftermarket dump valve that's your problem :)

I get this also.

1st Gear 2000RPM, Clutch Down, Revs Upto 2500RPM.
If I Rev to 2500RPM in 1st Gear And Clutch Down it doesn't happen.

Mine has an HKS Dump Valve.

Why does it do this with an Aftermarket Dump Valve?

I'd imagine its Air Flow Meter related.

Can most probably be mapped out during remap. :D

Again lot of dump valves require it to be mapped to the car like the turbo smart ( some of )
