replacing Elbow on Evo 8?

hey guys!

Wanted to ask if its possible to replace evo 8 Elbow from the upper side (over the egine) or do I need to get under the engine?, A friend gave me an Elbow so I wanted to check
the easiest way to repalce it...

You can do it on the car with the rad out but the bolt at the bottom on engine side is a pain even with no ac pump. It can be a faff to get off but it will crack off. Could be easier with the turbo out to save losing skin.

Remember to cover it in wd40 before starting.
