Can anyone tell me what I need to use to get the JDM head unit out. not sure if it's OEM or aftermarket. it does have CD and MD slots.

Also, If I was to remove the double din, what can I use to fit the single headunit in? can you buy a tray to go under the headunit? if so where will be the best place to get 1?

Halfords or any car audio shop will sell you a tray or blanking panel for a few quid.

To remove simply pull the black trim off the dash that surrounds the stereo with fingers. Then you'll find 4 screws that hold the stereo and it's cage in place :)

cheers Lee. Is it hard to remove the dash surround? is the whole middle trim? the one around the climate control as well?

Just the lower section. Remove the ashtray then it should just pull out.

Should be 3 wires on the fag lighter socket once you pull that section right out. Not uncommon for one to get pulled off just as they are coming through the dash.
Just thought I'd let you know incase it does happen and you don't notice then it doesn't work once you re fitted it :)
