Hi guys,

Will removing the suspension bracing strut soften the harsh ride (potholes around my neck of the woods are doing my head in) on the EVO X? 888

I very much doubt you'll notice any difference removing the brace.

The strut brace is to compensate on chassis flex to allow optimum handling round bends. It will not make a difference at all. You are better off changing the shocks to adjustable's.

It will be worth while for you to check if your shocks are not leaking, the springs are not broken and the bushes are all fine and not worn.

You might even have After Market bushes, in which case you might be better of replacing them with stock bushes.

Have a quick inspection, if you need help with this then the best place would be an MOT station.

Keep us posted please.
