Has anyone removed an immobiliser from an import?

Gets annoying putting the chip in first to stop the light flashing and then start the car.

Today I had to UN plug it to remove the trims round the drivers footlwell and when I re connected it and tried to start the car it set the alarm off for ages and I had to dc it all let it sleep and since it's been fine?

Any ideas why it wouldn't let me start it after having it disconnected?

Evo 8 import.

Not sure about it not starting.
Basically an immobilizer is just a switch, Trace the wires from the chip reader back to the control box then trace all the wires the box. There will be power and ground etc. but the main ones you need to trace will either be spliced into the ignition or the wiring for the fuel pump. All you need to do is remove the wiring from the immobilizer and re join the wiring to the ignition or pump.

Yeah I can see all the wires bud it's just when I plugged it back in it wouldn't start and the alarm went crazy.
It's fine now since I let it shut down. Started last six times.
Gotta go out now and not coming home til late be a disaster if it fails to start!

The reason I dc it is cause I was removing the traffic master sat nav rubbish.

Might be annoying but I would rather that than a car that can be hotwired to start and gone
