Removing carbon wrap

Hi all

I have had carbon wrap on the boot and bonnet of the evo for about a year now. The stuff on the bonnet was cracking along the top of the vent and the boot hasn't gone all to plan in the first place. Wrap was marked and damaged on purchase.

Pulled both lots off to re wrap with new 4D wrap. I know they say you can just peal it off but even with heat its going to remove paint and on the bonnet the air free channels have left lines in the paint not a problem as re wrapped but was surprised to see all the lines, could of played o and x's in it

Sorry for the poor quality of the photo

I'd use white spirit in a spay gun. Keep spraying at the contact point and what you've already sprayed.

We use it on golf clubs to get grips off that are stuck on with double sided tape, it just breaks down the bond. It's not strong enough to damage paint.

A machine polish would sort out the marks left, it's strange it's doe it though

The wrap and the glue all came off with heat the issue is the marks that is left in the paint! Its ok as we re wrapped with 4D wrap ;)
