Relocating Head Unit

hey guys I'm doing a custom build and having an iPad mini as my new head unit don't totally want to get of the head unit was going to put it in the glove box anyone know how this is done is it just simple and getting an extra winning harness for my head unit and an antenna extension or is it a hard process?? if anyone has any videos it would be greatly appreciated

Just ditch the head unit dude, what will your head unit do that the iPad won't? Other than the obvious CD player?
